Today, I specialize in yoga for Better Balance—supporting active adults and aging students who want to move with more confidence, recover from setbacks more quickly, and maintain independence and vitality for the long run.
My background includes study with many esteemed teachers including Noah Mazé, Anthony and Rebecca Benenati, Bryan Kest, Richard Freeman, Carlos Pomeda, and therapeutic specialists like Eric Small, Garth McLean, and Naime Jezzeny. I taught adaptive yoga for the National MS Society for six years and continue to lead live online therapeutic and all-levels classes each week.
I teach because I’m passionate about helping students access the joy and insight yoga brings. For me, yoga is a way to express spiritual concepts through the physical body—where each pose becomes a portal to deeper self-awareness, emotional resilience, and mental clarity.
My classes are grounded in alignment and infused with a sense of play. I love meeting students exactly where they are—offering thoughtful modifications, meaningful sequences, and supportive practices that create space for transformation.
Whether you're joining a live class, exploring our video library, or connecting with the Yoga with Genene community, my goal is for you to leave your mat feeling more balanced, peaceful, and inspired.
I look forward to practicing with you!
