Twisting asanas involve either twisting the torso while keeping the legs and arms in their original positions or vice versa. They help to stretch the muscles in the back, shoulders, and abdomen, while also providing a massage to the internal organs. They are beneficial to practice before or after physical activity, as they improve circulation and help with detoxification. In addition, they can be used to relieve stress and encourage relaxation.
Props Needed: 1 blanket or bath towel, 2 blocks, 1 chair
